Interview with Bottom Line IT

Mike Maddox and Matt Kolberg of ASK sat down with Ross to discuss Digital Active’s growing enterprise as well as the company's direction. In the two-part interview, Maddox, Kolberg and Ross talk about Digital Active’s clients, which range from those in the Mid-Michigan area to more “geographically challenged” companies that need to be connected from multiple locations. Ross discussed Digital Active’s philosophy on the movement of all things web to a mobile sector. The Digital Active model is less along the lines of developing specialized apps, and more about providing access to the things companies need through a mobile browser. During the interview, Ross explained with Bottom Line IT the shift in Digital Active’s web design business plan, which is now concentrated on providing the client all the tools they need to manage their site themselves. Through automation and nimble communication, the company seeks to give clients control of their own web. Digital Active's goal is to take clients from 'What the heck is this?' to 'How the heck are we going to live without it".
