HCHC Expands

The Hillsdale Community Health Center (HCHC) has utilized an ActiveOffice intranet since 2010. The system has grown from Discussion Forums within departments to providing information to over 400 employees. The secure-access site, affectionately named "The Loop", includes forms and information regarding human resources, document management for each department, a Calendar of Events, and updates to a new wing currently under construction. Response to the tool has been glowing as HCHC has continued to find new ways to use the Loop. "Digital Active has taken us from 'What the heck is this?' to 'How the heck are we going to live without it?" said Judy Gabrielle, Director of Development. The latest addition is a Maintenance Ticket system. The system will allow staff to enter issues regarding building maintenance. The tickets are stored, email alerts notify the proper personnel, and a reporting tool tracks the time and costs of any repairs. The intranet has helped create a spirit of community and has facilitated communication among and between departments at HCHC. |
